This project marked a full-scale redesign of the customer journey email communications for Shoprite, one of South Africa’s leading retailers. Tasked with enhancing engagement across the entire shopper lifecycle—from first-time sign-ups to the most loyal customers—we developed a segmented communication strategy grounded in customer behavior and purchase history.

 

Each email was purposefully designed to speak directly to the customer’s shopping habits, with a visual style that balanced simplicity and brand impact. The result was a suite of dynamic, personalized mailers that significantly improved engagement and customer satisfaction, while reinforcing Shoprite’ position as a forward-thinking, customer-first brand.
